How to get a permit to shoot at Mission San Juan Capistrano
Just a little heads up if you’re looking to do your engagement session at the Mission, you will need to obtain a permit (found here). It’s super easy to obtain and within minutes you’ll be all set. There’s an $80 fee as of writing this article and you will have to send a copy of your certificate of insurance but once that’s cleared you are good to go! Make sure you follow the rules and don’t climb on anything because they are strict about this and for good reason. There is a lot of history in this location and we have to respect that. Engagement session
We met up with Aarti and Harsh for their engagement session at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano. It’s such a beautiful and unique location and we were super happy that this is where they chose to have their engagement photos taken. We met up with them a few minutes prior to start time to sign in and get the paperwork we needed but once it was all set it was time to have fun! Aarti and Harsh have such great energy and are so good together that it was a breeze to take their engagement photos. Just put a camera in front of them and they do the rest! Of course as with any of our couples we helped them with a little posing here and there because we want them to look their best but generally speaking they were awesome from the get-go!
Engagement Session Locations Orange County
After doing a nice session at the Mission we took our beautiful couple to Laguna Beach. Laguna Beach is one of our favorite beaches in orange county for engagement portrait photography. There are just so many amazing nuances that make our photographer brains get excited. From the rocky beach, to the sandy beach, and everything in between, there’s just so much that we were able to do with our wonderful couple here to really give them variety for their couples’ session
