Old Orange County Courthouse Wedding Pictures: During 2020, when most weddings were being postponed, a lot of people opted to do Courthouse Weddings. Now, we’ve always done Courthouse Weddings periodically so it wasn’t anything new to us. However with the new rules set in place by the California state, there were some changes at the Old orange county courthouse for weddings. For example, we weren’t allowed to go inside the ceremony while they were exchanging vows. This was new and an adjustment here in Santa Ana and in Laguna Hills Civic Center but we made the best out of it. We were still able to do photos around the area. In Downtown Santa Ana, inside the city hall while they waited or after. It’s a beautiful location here in Orange County so regardless of the limitations, we were still able to make it work. In this particular instance we did pictures in and around the courthouse before heading over. We headed over to this second area about five minutes away. We always recommend something close to the courthouse so stress level is lower.

After the legal paperwork is completed we usually like to walk around the Old Orange County Courthouse and do a small session. Old Orange County Courthouse Wedding Pictures always come out really pretty. With the classic architecture and trees, it’s easy to get great pictures. Sometimes we do a second location by the beach and other times we just keep it local depending on the package that our couple chooses. In this instance we went with the closer one and we were able to get some beautiful photos right down the street. When booking your courthouse wedding, ask us for suggestions; we’re always happy to help.

As you can see from their beautiful session above, just because you’re doing a smaller ceremony does not mean it can’t be beautiful. Simplicity and beauty go hand in hand. Hopefully we can be there for your special day, big or small 🙂
