This weekend we had the pleasure of photographing our good friends Kailie and Ryan’s wedding at the beautiful The Barton House Of Redlands. As soon as we got there, we saw Heather and her amazing team (Events By Heather) setting everything up and we knew it was gonna be picture perfect when it was all done!
Kailie, our beautiful bride was already in the bridal suite getting ready with her bridesmaids, while Ryan was hanging out with his groomsmen in the groom’s suite. We knew we wanted to do a first look (where the bride and groom see each other prior to the wedding ceremony, in order to get more time photos in), but before that, Kailie wanted to do a first look with dad. Personally, I always love these moments so we were more than happy to carve out some time for this special moment.
Some couples opt out of doing a “First Look”, but if you think about it, there are many “first looks” on a wedding day. Just think about any wedding you’ve been to, the first time you saw the bride yourself. That was your first look.
Kailie opted for two first looks!
Father’s First Look
Ryan’s First Look
After the first look with dad, we took Ryan out where was anxiously waiting to see his bride in her wedding dress for the first time. Needless to say, the happy nervousness was showing in Ryan and we didn’t want to keep him waiting any longer! The reaction was absolutely priceless and their happy faces just lit up when they saw one another!
After the first look we headed over to do some wedding party photos before the ceremony begun.
The ceremony was just as we thought it would be. Full of emotions, happy tears, laughs, and everything in between. After Kailie and Ryan sealed their marriage with a kiss it was time to rejoin their friends and family to party the night away! Congratulations Kailie and Ryan! We genuinely could not be any happier for the two of you! Seeing you grow individually and together the last few years has been amazing to see! We wish you all the best in this new journey together!
