We met up with our beautiful couple in Downtown Los Angeles at the classic Majestic Downtown for their wedding. It was a warm day outside, but once we got inside the venue, everything felt cool and perfect. The flowers were being set up by the gorgeous staircase, our groom was in the middle of the rehearsal with his friends and family and our beautiful bride was hidden away in the bridal suite upstairs
One thing that’s wonderful about The Majestic Downtown is that while the bride can be getting ready upstairs, privately, our groom has his own space downstairs where he can get ready with his friends. Keeping them separate until the ceremony or until their first look if they choose to do one. Our couple on this day decided to and because of that we were able to do wedding party photos as well as family photos before their ceremony. Allowing them to enjoy their cocktail hour and wedding reception more than if they pushed everything until after the ceremony.
After the ceremony we were able to capture the energy and the fun part of the wedding. Although we find it all fun (and I’m not just saying that, this job is fun as hell), we know that once we’re flies on the wall capturing the reception, that’s when our couples let loose and enjoy themselves. And they definitely did! The ambiance is AMAZING at the Majestic and before we took off we did one last shot by the staircase because…how could we not!?
