Long Beach LGBT Engagement Session Marissa and Jasmyn
We met up with Marissa and Jasmyn in Long Beach for their engagement session earlier this week. Summer is finally starting to feel like summer so it was a nice warm afternoon (If you know me, I’m all about the heat). When Marissa and Jasmyn showed up along with Marissa’s twin sister, within two seconds you could feel the positive happy energy they brought along. Smiles all around and that is just the perfect way to start an engagement session! I couldn’t wait to get them in front of the camera because I knew how that energy would radiate. You can see it from photo to photo how happy and playful they are together.
We shot around downtown Long Beach for a bit because they specifically wanted the rainbow crosswalk in their photos (Long Beach is very LGBT friendly which is Awesome!). We got Marissa and Jasmyn comfortable in front of the camera; they had watched our video about posing (seen here) so they were pros before we even started! We had a really fun time before heading down to Shoreline Aquatic Park to finish their session there. We wanted to catch the sunset by the lighthouse and honestly we couldn’t have planned it any better because the lighthouse also was being lit up with the rainbow colors! How cool is that?! Thank you Marissa and Jasmyn for a super fun session. We can’t wait to see you at your wedding at The Vintage Rose!
