Welcome back to our wedding blogs! It has been some time with this Covid-19 Coronavirus situation, however, here in Los Angeles and Orange County, smaller gatherings and microweddings have become a thing. Although the guest count is smaller, the happiness is just as big for the bride, groom, and their friends and families. Many of our couples have decided to do microweddings; meaning, a smaller event than originally planned, usually consisting of just a few key people followed by a larger wedding in 2021 when everything hopefully settles back to normal.
On this particular day we found ourselves in Simi Valley for Anusha and Adi’s special day. We arrived early as always and even though this covid situation is still happening we gave ourselves time for traffic (there was none…one of the few positives of 2020). When we arrived, our beautiful bride was just finishing up her make up and already anxiously waiting to see her groom for the first time. After doing a few more getting ready photos upstairs and our second wedding photographer taking the groom down for some photos, we set them up for the First Look. Of course emotions ran high and they could not stop smiling once they saw each other!
After the First Look, we took our beautiful bride and groom for portraits with just them. The wedding ceremony was taking place soon but we had a few minutes for some of our staple wedding photos. Anusha and Adi were well prepared when it came to posing since we had previously done their engagement session in Laguna Beach. An engagement session is really great for many reasons. Getting posing down before the big day is one of them. There are also other great reasons we discussed in this article here: https://tnkphoto.com/why-you-need-an-engagement-photo-session/
Once we knew we had enough bride and groom photos down, we had to let them go and capture what was to be a really special ceremony. During this portion of the day our team is trained to be flies on the wall and capture the events that are happening while maintaining a low profile. We believe these moments need to be uninterrupted so our couples can really live those moments
