Mission San Juan Capistrano Engagement | Cindy and Jay
We can spot soulmates from a mile away, and Cindy and Jay are IT. They live in a world of beautiful people. Their picture-perfect (and shall we say, fairytale?)
After having a conversation with them about the location for their engagement session, Cindy and Jay decided to go with the Mission San Juan Capistrano Engagement, and we could not be more happy about it!
When the rest of us normal folks first peer into Cindy and Jay’s dreamy universe, they’re like the most interesting couple on earth.
HOW THEY MET
Cindy and Jay are one of the few success stories of tying the knot through tinder! Considering that’s one of the most “casual” apps out there, it was a bit better 3 years ago. Cindy actually signed up with no intention of meeting anyone because I was only curious on checking out what kind of hyped app that is. Little do I know I have swiped right to my Mr. Right, and he got his Tinderella ???? ????????!
Their first date went super well, we met up for dinner and then grabbed drinks and talked hours. They both clicked very well and they just knew we’d be right for each other.
Of course there are doubts at the beginning since they were strangers, but soon they became closer than they ever imagined.
THE PROPOSAL
Fast forward to our 3rd year anniversary, that’s when Jay proposed. Jay made dinner reservation at a very intimate restaurant, Il Cielo, in Beverly Hills with a table filled with red rose petals and the longest candles Cindy’s ever seen.
Cindy thought Jay was being very romantic on this special occasion. After dinner, the waiter brought out a chocolate heart shaped cake with a rose ???? on top of it.
Cindy noticed a shiny object sitting on top of the rose. That’s when Jay got down on one knee and proposed 🙂 It was very sweet and romantic.
Cindy noticed Jay was drinking so much champagne and wine throughout dinner because he was racking his nerves just like our first date (he order quiet a few sake bottles)!!
It will be their 4th year anniversary on October 3rd and they are very excited to start a new chapter on their lives together! ????
THE LOCATION
San Juan Capistrano has always been one of our favorite places for engagement sessions and weddings. Seriously friends, based on the insanely gorgeous sunset and the oh-so-perfect session we had, these two live a crazy charmed life!
Just check Cindy’s beautiful dress. She made all the right choices to match Jay’s outfit and blend perfectly with the background at the mission.
What we like about the San Juan Mission Capistrano Engagement
Mission San Juan Capistrano Engagement, historic landmark and museum, is the Birthplace of Orange County. It was founded more than two hundred years ago as the 7th of 21 missions statewide and features a chapel still standing where Saint Serra once celebrated Mass.
Today, theMission San Juan Capistrano Engagement, is a monument to California’s multi-cultural history, embracing its Native American, Spanish, Mexican and European heritage. Originally built as a self sufficient community by Spanish Padres and Native Americans, the Mission was a center for agriculture, industry, education and religion.
Cindy and Jay: Your hearts are everything! Thank you for inviting us into all of the most special moments of your day and for trusting us with all of your hearts.
