Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church Wedding Newport Beach | Adriana and Victor
Last week we had the honor and privilege to photograph Adriana and Victor’s ceremony at our Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Newport Beach. We have a shot at our lady of Angels, but since the COVID-19 pandemic has put many events on hold, it had been some time. When Victor reached out to me, I couldn’t wait to shoot with them! It’s such a beautiful church and the Newport Beach area has so many cool spots to do wedding photography as well. We had a short span of time since they weren’t doing the whole ceremony and reception just yet but after the ceremony we took them around the church for a few bride and groom photos.
After the wedding ceremony, we took our beautiful couple for some photos outside of the church. Since it was earlier in the day we kept them in the shade where they would be comfortable and they wouldn’t have to squint. Photo tip: we always put our couples facing away from the sun for two reasons. One, they don’t squint since the sun isn’t direct and two, the lighting is much better since it’s even in the front. However, when it’s midday, our best friend is the shade in order to keep the lighting nice, soft and pretty
