Redondo Beach Library Wedding | Jacklyn and Brian
The day had arrived, and it was all coming together in this moment with each other. Things become so light in moments like this. Even heavy moments seem so wonderful and easy. So fun. So meaningful. It was like a warm breeze had drifted by and taken all of their cares along with it. And this day would culminate in a lot of things for them. It would be a day to celebrate and reflect with their families. It would be a time of extra tight hugs, extra big smiles, and a few extra tears. But it would be ultimately be the first day to spend the rest of their lives with each other, and that is the best kind of moment there is.
Jacklyn and Brian held their wedding at Redondo Beach Library, and we love everything about this day! Because the sun is opposite the water, the ocean always turns a beautiful blue, and guests can enjoy the view of the horizon without a blazing hot sunset in their eyes!
But even more than that, we love the still quietness of mornings, especially when we get to hang out with two of the coolest people in the world – aka Jacklyn and Brian!
Brian and Jacklyn matched on E-Harmony, but followed an old school courtship of emailing chatting online and texts . After conversations about their roots in family, being first generation Pilipino-Americans and of course love of 90’s slow jams, Brian and Jacklyn officially met at Pier 17 in Huntington Beach. We shot the 4 year anniversary of the first day they met by taking their engagement photos at one of the favorite places at The Anaheim Packing House. You can check all the photos of the engagement session here.
Why We Like The Redondo Beach Library Wedding
Book lovers that we are, it was a foregone conclusion that the Redondo Beach Library Wedding would capture our hearts. Whether you’re a bibliophile or not, however, the library is bound to appeal to you and all who walk through its impressive double wooden doors. Local architect Lovell Pemberton built the library in 1930, positioning it to command a view of both the Pacific and the sprawling lawn of Veterans’ Park.
Most couples say their vows during sunset’s lavish light, in front of a quartet of ocean-facing windows on the main floor at Redondo Beach Library Wedding.
Since its opening in 1996 as an event venue, the Redondo Beach Library Wedding has proved to be one of the most popular event facilities in Redondo Beach, booking almost every weekend.
Jacklyn and Brian: You guys are seriously such fun people to hang out with and we’re so excited to FINALLY be married friends! Can’t wait to hang out at Disneyland with you guys soon, but until then, enjoy the honeymoon!
